How you can Plug in while Staying Home

Now that we are all at home, some business activities will slow down. That means time will open up for organizing, resetting, and reconnection. One of the greatest gifts in this world is time. Ask yourself what would you do if you had more time?

Collaboration

Now that we are using Slack, Zoom, and Google Hangouts we can continue as much business as possible. Are there people you’ve wanted to work with? This is a great time to call them and ask a half-hour of their time. A lot of creative thinking happens when life slows down. Share that creativity with others and grow new opportunities.

Resetting

We will all be working on a new plan for 2020. How can we save costs and bring more value to our projects? Ask yourself to check over the basics of business--who are your best clients/customers and where are they? 

We have a tiered program for marketing that not only shares cost it shows ROI. Now is a great time to look at new programs to help your business become more profitable.

Added Services

What is that low hanging fruit in your business that may be a great add on for your service offerings? For us, we are working on our behind the scenes videos. We have added more video services including drone and live Tik Tok video.

Education

Remember that Master Class your husband gave you? Or that podcast you were interested in? Don’t just watch Netflix-learn a thing or two with an online class or podcast. Most universities and colleges have online classes that are a wonderful way to brush up on today’s timely topics.

Organizing

An entire office can be cleaned out in a few weeks if you dedicate just a few hours a day to the task. It’s amazing how fast items can accumulate over time and those items can be useful elsewhere. Right now we are recovering some furniture pieces for our new E-Commerce site. We are also donating fabric and wall covering samples to our local art school.

Salutations

Play the where are they now game with your LinkedIn list. Reach out to colleagues and coworkers to see how they are doing. Maybe someone needs help or has been meaning to start that new project. This is a great time to network with people and look for new business opportunities.
